Early Voting in DC Ends Sunday at 7 p.m., and Election Day Brings 75 Vote Centers on Tuesday
Sunday is the last day to vote early in the District: 25 Early Vote Centers stay open from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., and after tonight the next chance to vote in person is Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, when 75 vote centers open across the city.

Early voting in the District of Columbia ends Sunday, November 1. The Board of Elections' 25 Early Vote Centers are open from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the final day, and voters may vote at any of the 25 centers regardless of their residential address, the Board of Elections said. Wait times and locations are posted at earlyvoting.dcboe.org.
There is no Monday extension. Voters who miss Sunday's 7 p.m. close vote next on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, when the Board of Elections will operate 75 vote centers across the District, open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Anyone in line by 8 p.m. can still vote, FOX 5 DC reported. District residents who are not yet registered can still register and vote at a vote center during early voting or on Election Day with accepted proof of DC residence.
Mail ballots remain an option through Tuesday: a ballot returned by mail must be postmarked by November 3 and received by Friday, November 13 to be counted, and the District's 55 ballot drop boxes close at 8 p.m. on Election Day. The Board of Elections will keep updating totals for ballots received until November 13, with official results tentatively scheduled for certification on Wednesday, December 2, FOX 5 DC reported.
