Man Found Fatally Shot Inside a Capitol Heights Home Early Saturday, Prince George's County Police Say
Prince George's County homicide detectives are investigating after officers responding to a shooting call at about 4:35 a.m. Saturday found a man fatally wounded inside a home in the unit block of Quire Avenue in Capitol Heights.
A man is dead following an early morning shooting inside a residence in Capitol Heights, FOX 5 DC reported. Officers responded to the unit block of Quire Avenue at approximately 4:35 a.m. on Saturday for a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they located an adult male inside the residence suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene, FOX 5 DC reported. Authorities have not released the man's name, pending official identification and notification of his next of kin.
Homicide detectives with the Prince George's County Police Department are working to establish a motive and identify anyone involved. Investigators have not shared suspect descriptions, announced any arrests, or detailed what led up to the gunfire.
